The answer is yes and no. If you go to download some freebies there are some things you should be aware of. These are the designs of their own work digitizer? or they are giving away someone else's work? They have the right to give it away? I saw a website where the entire site has been freebies and it seemed that the purpose of free stuff for people to get the page to see was the weight loss product on the page. Not sure if this person have all the so-calledFree drawing, but I'd be suspicious about it.
As a digitizer and a site owner, there are two reasons why I give away the project and the first people to be able to show my drawings and see that they have good quality and the second is that I can offer then the future (if opt for writing news). Most digitizers do not give away their best stuff. But they should be of good quality.
If you're about to download a freebie, you shouldCheck out a few things first. Would you sold the item you sew? If so, you must ensure that the digitizer has a picture that is royalty free or have pulled away or used. If an item will be embroidered, which is an image that can also be found in legal trouble protected by copyright may be for sale.
To always check the terms and conditions on site before downloading, otherwise, the so-called free design can cost more than expectedfor.
You must verify the conditions to find what you are entitled to do with the design, I would suggest that you never allowed to sell, or give to be the drawing file. I understand that the people, but let's face it people in business to earn a living and whether their work is far away, they hope to have given.
At this point we all love a freebie, but consider that the implementation and maintenance of a website will cost money, are the embroidery designsusually not very expensive, so if you like the digitizer work and you like the site ready, some bills from time to spend the time or the site may just disappear.
